PictureXS, the Tiny Picture Warehouse, is an online public space for
anonymous expression. It enables the creation of a collective network of pictures and
names, exploring the potential value of services that neither enforce property
or require identification.

PictureXS, the Tiny Picture Warehouse, was created by Luis Blackaller for the
PLW in the Spring of 2007. The images collected in it are in
no way related to the MIT, the MIT Media Laboratory, or the PLW.
PictureXS does not hold copyright responsability for any of the
images collected in it.

- PictureXS Public Censorship Policy:
After a series of pictures of questionable nature have been added to the PictureXS
collection, it became necessary to enforce control on the content submitted by the people. It has been
decided that the people will be responsible for censoring each other, and the tools for
enabling the people to do so will be deployed shortly. People will be able to block from view specific
regions of a picture, this way enabling people to visually express what they dislike of a picture by
censoring it forever. A simple way to remove any controversial picture will be provided until the
more sophisticated censorship tool is developed.
